Why did we choose this name?

All of us who did not have the chance to hold our babies in our arms, to touch them, to caress them after childbirth – the first touch, the first caress – was given by healthcare professionals who received and took care of them, who worked hard to provide the best possible care for our children. Thus, the name of our organization was born, representing the first caress and affection these infants received from healthcare professionals.

Tender Beginnings ...

"Proto Chadi" is a non-profit organization established in 2022 by a group of parents of premature infants who needed care in a neonatal intensive care unit. A few words from the founders: "Through our experiences as parents of infants who were hospitalized in the neonatal intensive care unit, and guided by the emotions we felt during this tumultuous journey, the need arose to take action so that no newborn and no parent would have to go through this journey alone. Additionally, we would like, through our organization, to support the healthcare professionals who supported and stood by us during these difficult moments we experienced.
